We have all heard of the fashion boutique, but why should we shop there? The better question is why shouldn't we shop there?
There were moments in my early adulthood where I'd practically spend all my paychecks on dresses and at the end of the month would wonder where all that money went. How in the world could I have spent all my money yet not have enough dresses?
Well, that's the first benefit of shopping at the fashion boutique or the dress boutique. You save money! It's true! Now, who in their right minds wouldn't want that or wouldn't see that as a benefit. That should be at the top of your priority list when shopping around for new clothing. Boutiques' prices are always usually lower than large department stores or chain retailers. Because they're not selling a brand name, they're selling the quality and design of an article of clothing.
When it down to a dress, I wouldn't want Louis Vuitton written all over it. All that I care about is the material and the quality of the dress. Most boutiques will offer great quality stuff for a price that they think is fair simply because nobody is willing to pay them the brand name premium prices.
Another benefit is the designs and styles. Because they're usually a smaller store, they don't stock up on dresses that are targeted towards a general audience. If you look around enough, you'll find a boutique that sells the styles that you love. You'll walk into a store and fall in love with everything because whoever designs or stocks the dresses there must have similar taste buds as you do.
For example, if you went to purchase a maxi dress to look taller in. Although the purpose of the dress is to simply make you look taller (you would think), you actually want to look beautiful in it as well. So the design still counts. A store like Forever 21 might have 1 or 2 dresses that you find wearable. If you find a boutique that fits your style, you'll find a ton of them! Whether it's the difference in pattern or colors, you will find what you want. If you love floral prints, you may find a boutique that has a ton of floral print dresses.
